Meghna Mehta, MBA – Principal

Ms. Mehta is a pharmacist with more than 10 years of managerial experience in the biopharma and medical device sectors. Her experience spans brand strategy, new product development, business development, and marketing research. She enjoys identifying novel technologies, conducting technical and commercial assessments, and crafting product development strategies. In addition, Ms. Mehta believes in relying on quantitative decision making frameworks for making investment choices, and she brings a wide breadth of therapeutic area experience with her familiarity of various therapeutic areas including HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, oncology, diabetes, and pain management. She also provides a global perspective as a result of multi-million dollar deal closures in the US, Japan, China, the Middle East and India. Ms. Mehta was employed with Johnson & Johnson in their diabetes care franchise and was responsible for making new technology investment decisions for the LifeScan division. She has also successfully led cross-functional due diligence teams for out-licensing transactions for drug development companies in the US. Her Indian market experience was marked by successful product launches, new market entry strategies, and sales force management. Ms. Mehta has a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and an MBA in Marketing both from SP University in VallabhVidyanagar, India, as well as an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
