Lori M. Torres – Administrative Manager

 

Mrs. Torres has more than 25 years of executive support and office management experience in the biotechnology and construction industries and more than 30 years providing secretarial assistance. She handles administrative and accounting responsibilities for Halteres Associates where her broad experience in both the biotechnology and construction industries is a perfect fit with Halteres where the activities of multiple subcontractors bringing unique skills and expertise to the overall project effort are coordinated to ensure success. She also functions as the Administrative Manager for sister company Catalysis Foundation for Health, an organization addressing gaps in global healthcare caused by inefficiencies in disease diagnosis and monitoring. Mrs. Torres worked at Chiron Corporation for nearly 12 years where she provided executive support to Mickey Urdea and Paul Neuwald. Working with Human Resources representatives, she created the position Administrative Supervisor and was the first assistant to manage a number of other administrative assistants. Following her time at Chiron, Mrs. Torres was the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for a San Francisco Bay Area engineering contractor. In 2003, she and her husband founded Torres Construction where she serves as an Officer and the Business Administrator. Her responsibilities there include administrative functions, project management, finance and accounting, human resources and customer service.
