Mr. Kerzner has over 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing and communications with early stage and Fortune 100 companies, domestic and multi-national, assessing market opportunities and positioning products to take advantage of their world-wide market potential. His experience includes development of professional and consumer marketing strategies and communications programs for a diverse array of healthcare companies including diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, laboratory and surgical equipment and service providers. For 17 years, Mr. Kerzner was a founder, principal and COO of Rainoldi Kerzner Radcliffe (RKR), one of the foremost healthcare advertising and public relations agencies in the West, which was sold to OMNICOM. He worked with biotech clients such as Chiron and Amgen, helping them to grow from pre-IPO development to major multi-nationals. Mr. Kerzner also provided long-term marketing and communications support to companies such as Bayer, J&J (Lifescan and Neutrogena divisions), SKB, Abbott, Braun and Siemens. His experience covers nearly every medical specialty and disease state, providing him with an understanding of the complexities of these markets and what drives success. Since the sale of RKR, Mr. Kerzner has served in marketing and communications roles with biotech, diagnostics, outcomes, medical education, healthcare internet portal and healthcare delivery companies. His most recent position was as Senior Director of Communications for Tethys Bioscience, where he developed and executed a major diabetes product launch in four months. Mr. Kerzner holds a BS in Biology and Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York; an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California; and he attended medical school at L’Universite d’Orleans in Tours, France. He is fluent in French.
