Dr. Alberts has more than 20 years of experience in the life science industry with a track record of driving global teams in sales and marketing, new product development and launch, business building, and turnaround leadership. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Product Management for Applied Biosystems. In this position, Dr. Alberts directed Product Line Managers, Product Managers, and Application Specialists and formed a team that met the needs of customers in life science, pharmaceutical, and health diagnostics arenas. Prior to that position, he was Vice President of Marketing for Vi-John Laboratories, Inc. working with natural health, personal care, and OTC pharmaceuticals and Director of Marketing for Lab Essentials at Sigma-Aldrich, Inc. where he also held the titles Director of International Sales, Sales and Marketing Manager (Israel), and Product Line Manager (Germany). Dr. Alberts began his career as a Product Manager for Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in Munich, Germany, a supplier of life science, analytical chemistry, and clinical diagnostic products. He received his BS, MS and PhD all in Biology from Albertus Magnus University in Germany. Dr. Alberts is fluent in German and conversational in Hebrew.
