Anke-Peggy Holtorf, PhD – Principal

Dr. Holtorf has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in research and marketing with global responsibilities. She is the European consultant for Millcreek Outcomes Research; founder of Health Outcomes Strategies, LLC, an international consultancy firm helping pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies align their business strategies to the prospective value their products and services can contribute to the healthcare market; and Business Director for Europe of BioBridge Strategies, a consulting company that focuses on identifying strategic and operational options for adding value in healthcare. Dr. Holtorf served as visiting faculty at the University of Utah in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. In addition to her academic contributions, she participated as investigator in a variety of studies conducted by the Pharmacotherapy Outcomes Research Center College of Pharmacy. Dr. Holtorf was responsible for the Global Disease Management activities and strategy of Novartis Pharma, and prior to that, she managed the biotech business unit of a mid-sized Swiss chemical company and held a seat on their executive committee. Dr. Holtorf is a core member of the Global Health Care Reimbursement Systems and Decision Processes Working Group and the Health Technology Assessment of Medical Devices and Diagnostics Working Group at ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research) and has published broadly on subjects of evidenced-based decision making and quality control in healthcare. She obtained her PhD from the University of Marburg in Germany and her MBA from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Dr. Holtorf is fluent in German and French and conversational in Italian.
